SALIENT FEATURES
 
GENERAL
Simultaneous control of 2 Axis and 1 spindle (work head) through CNC.
Machine can be programmed for operations like Plunge, Traverse, Face and Taper grinding in one setup.
Single piece, heavily ribbed, box structure design machine bed made of Graded cast iron.
TURCITE-B coated V-Flat guideways of Work head table and In-Feed slide. Extra wide guideways of Table and In-Feed slide.
Precision Ballscrews directly coupled to Digital AC Servo motors on X & Z axes.
Automatic programmable Centralized lubrication system.
 
WORK HEAD
Rigid Universal Work head which can be swiveled to facilitate taper grinding.
CNC controlled Constant Surface Speed (CSS) of work piece offered as Standard feature.
 
WHEEL HEAD
Spindle made of alloy steel, is specially heat treated, ground, lapped and runs in precision White Metal Bush bearings, which give very high accuracy and excellent surface finish to the work piece.
Both STRAIGHT and ANGULAR wheel configuration available.
Separate Oil Filtration / Re-circulation unit provided for positive supply of clean Oil to the spindle bearings.
OPTIONAL : Cartridge type wheel spindle with Antifriction bearings suitable for 45 m/sec cutting speed.

OPTIONAL : Variable speed drive to maintain constant surface speed of grinding wheel even as the wheel size reduces.
 
WHEEL DRESSING
Tailstock mounted Diamond dresser with CNC dressing for generating various profiles.
Automatic Dressing with compensation through CNC.
 
CNC SYSTEM
Simple Menu driven programming software provided which eliminates the need of skilled manpower for programming & machine operation.
User friendly, menu driven grinding cycles provided with screens ( pPunge, Traverse, Face grinding & Dressing cycles etc.)
Linear and Circulation interpolation of both X and Z axes provided for dressing and grinding various profiles.
Electronic hand wheel provided ( MPG ).

Graphic simulation and DRY RUN for increased User safety.
Built in diagnostics, Interlocks and alarms provided for maximum safety.
 
TAIL STOCK
Tail stock is of single piece construction which provides maximum rigidity and stability.
Hydraulic actuation of Tail stock is offered as optional.
